Senior Corporate Counsel, Project Kuiper (Satellites / Communications)

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. We are looking for a talented lawyer to join the Project Kuiper Legal team.

Key responsibilities

  1. Embed with the Kuiper teams and support business leaders.
  2. Lead public sector focused negotiations, due diligence, and compliance.
  3. Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.
  4. Build processes that address risk while allowing business flexibility and agility.

We seek someone enthusiastic about technology, who enjoys challenges, and demonstrates sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.

This position is based in London, UK. Some domestic and international travel will be required.

Minimum requirements

  • Significant post-qualification legal experience, with a minimum of 10+ years, in-house or in private practice.
  • Experience in technology and commercial transactions or businesses.
  • Experience working closely with and advising senior executives.
  • Ability to work independently and directly with legal and business partners at all levels.
