Salary: £26,500 per annum
Location: Near Uxbridge, West London
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am – 12:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

We’re recruiting for a reliable and detail-focused Logistics Operative to join a global leader in aerospace safety systems. Based near Uxbridge, you’ll be supporting the safe handling, packaging, and internal movement of high-value engineered components—used in some of the world’s most advanced military aircraft.

Logistics Operative Responsibilities:

Primary and final packing of components to strict technical and customer requirements

Accurate part identification using batch numbers, labels and SAP records

Ensure parts are packed with appropriate materials and clearly marked for dispatch

Support shipping activities by preparing items for internal or external transport

Perform self-inspection and visual quality checks of work completed

Receive, pick, and issue materials using computer systems and warehouse processes

Undertake internal movement of goods using pallet trucks, forklifts and lifting equipment

Assist in Raw Material Stores – including saw operation and general handling

Maintain clean, organised working areas in accordance with health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:

Previous stores or packing experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Competent with Microsoft Word and Excel

Willingness to learn and work flexibly across Stores and Logistics departments

A counterbalance forklift licence would be an advantage (training can be provided)
