As TiG Welder, your responsibilities will include;

  • Fabrication and welding various Aerospace & Defence components from Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium

  • Fillet and butt welds in thicknesses and combinations between 0.5mm to 3mm (occasionally thicker)

  • Manual torch brazing of aluminium and stainless steel

  • Working to tight tolerances and deadlines

  • Welding to Aircraft standards and specifications

  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area as required

  • Following all health and safety guidelines

    About You – Requirements

  • Proven experience in TiG welding. Aerospace or defence sectors experience will be preferred.

  • Ability to read engineering drawings.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and using own initiative.

  • Keen eye for detail.

  • Legally authorised to work in the UK.
