Our client, a leading innovator in semiconductor technology, is seeking a Senior MMIC Engineer to join their team. Specialising in RF, MMIC, and microwave semiconductor solutions, they work on cutting-edge projects in critical communications, satellite systems, and network infrastructure.

The Role As a Senior MMIC Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing next-generation compound semiconductor ICs and modules. This is an exciting opportunity to work with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to high-impact projects while enhancing technical capabilities within the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop MMICs and RF/microwave modules for both internal and client-driven projects.
  • Lead the design, layout, and evaluation of RF components in a hands-on role.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to project teams and clients.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to enhance the team’s knowledge and capabilities.
  • Support business growth by engaging in technical marketing activities and identifying new opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline or physics.
  • 5+ years of experience in MMIC design within a commercial environment (GaAs or GaN technologies).
  • Proficiency in Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, or similar RF design tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
