I am seeking a Senior Business Development Director - Public Sector to join my client on a permanent basis. As the Senior Business Development Director - Public Sector you must have experince working within the public sector and drive new business sales in the CX and BPO and BPS space across Central Government. This role will identify, shape, and lead pursuit teams to successfully win, large and mid-sized deals, meeting customer and commercial expectations.

Location: Hybrid
Hours: Monday to Friday,40 hours per week
Salary:£90,000 - £110,000 + Commission

Responsibilities

  • Identify, lead and win new business in the CX, BPO/ BPS and Technology arenas across Central Government
  • Lever technology and AI coupled to our deep process knowledge and people to drive outcomes for our clients
  • Lead on the development of positive client relationships including the enhancement of existing relationships as well as the creation of new relationships
  • Achieving agreed sales (revenue) targets
  • Drive origination activity via the development of strategic relationships for key strategic opportunities
  • Play a key role in developing the growth culture of the division and be an advocate for the pivot to growth plan through your behaviours and leadership activity
  • Lead the internal 'sell' of opportunities, including working with commercial colleagues to guide client proposals through our governance arrangements



Requirements

  • Background in selling in the public sector environment
  • Strong understanding of CX, Business Process Services and Technology
  • Adept at understanding client requirements and building effective relationships that have delivered growth
  • Clear experience and track record of leading and winning work, including identifying opportunities and managing them through the sales cycle
  • Engaging executive-level clients, including 'pitching' ideas and working in a collaborative way
