What you will do:
You will play a pivotal role as part of the manufacturing management team, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and compliance. You will oversee the quality management system of the fab and shaping the future of manufacturing excellence through the implementation of automotive and semiconductor quality standards. As a key player in our fab quality management team, you will be the go-to expert when it comes to rule creation, setting standards, maintaining high-quality processes, and acting as a chief advisor in critical situations.

Your responsibilities include:


  • Rule Maker & Enforcer: You will lead the creation and implementation of critical quality rules for our fab environment. You’ll be responsible for setting guidelines, policing compliance, and making tough calls in high-pressure situations

  • Advisor to Senior Leadership: You will serve as the primary advisor to the Engineering and Operations leadership team, leveraging your deep understanding of industry regulations, especially in the automotive and semiconductor sectors

  • Customer Facing Role: You will act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing quality issues, explaining rules, and managing relationships. Your presence will be integral during customer visits

  • Problem Solver: When issues arise, you’ll be the one to lead the charge in firefighting. Develop clear, structured guidance to ensure smooth resolution and drive continuous improvement

  • Shaping the Future of Manufacturing: You will ensure that quality systems evolve to meet the latest customer requirements while adhering to industry standards like ISO 9001 and IATF 16949

What you will need:
Essential:


  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  • 5 years + of experience in quality management in industries such as semiconductor, automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical / medical, and electronics industries with similar quality standards

  • Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or similar)

  • Experience in people and stakeholder management (ideally within an international company)

  • Proven experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

  • Expertise in customer interaction and auditing, particularly for IATF (International Automotive Task Force) standards

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

  • Experience with regulatory compliance and audits

  • Quality system knowledge with a proven track record of transforming systems, including automation and simplification initiatives

Desirable:


  • In-depth understanding of automotive core tools such as APQP (advanced product quality planning) – this includes: (Ad, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.)
