A market-leading manufacturer of innovative seating systems for the aerospace industry is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead business development and account management across global aviation clients.
This is a high-profile, client-facing role suited to someone with deep knowledge of aerospace supply chains, experience working with major OEMs or Tier 1 interiors suppliers, and a strong track record of delivering sales growth in a technical environment.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, you’ll be responsible for expanding existing customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities within the civil aviation sector — including major airlines, OEMs, and integrators.
You’ll act as the strategic partner and voice of the customer, guiding internal teams to deliver high-spec seating solutions that exceed expectations in comfort, innovation, safety, and compliance.

  • Own and grow a portfolio of aerospace seating accounts across the UK and international markets.

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and airline clients.

  • Build long-term relationships with procurement, engineering, and programme stakeholders.

  • Drive RFQ responses, pricing strategy, bid preparation, and contract negotiation processes.

  • Collaborate with internal engineering, design, and operations teams to ensure product delivery aligns with client expectations.

  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments to inform strategy.

  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings worldwide.

  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and commercial insight to senior leadership.

Required Experience & Skills:


  • 5+ years’ sales or business development experience within the aerospace industry.

  • Prior exposure to seating, interiors, or other cabin-related systems is highly desirable.

  • Excellent track record in B2B sales, including negotiating complex, high-value contracts.

  • Strong understanding of the aerospace OEM and MRO landscape.

  • Technically minded with the ability to engage with engineers and translate requirements into solutions.

  • Comfortable with UK and international travel
