Are you passionate about quality and eager to make a real impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We're currently working with a highly reputable manufacturing business based in Ashbourne that is looking to appoint a proactive and detail-driven Quality Technician to support its quality function. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company where you'll work closely with production teams and play a key role in maintaining high product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out laboratory tests and in-process quality checks to generate accurate and reliable data.
Work alongside production teams to advise on and resolve quality issues during live production.
Perform routine analytical and inspection tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Prepare and test samples; operate and maintain lab and quality equipment.
Accurately record results and report findings to senior team members.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and ensure the laboratory is fully resourced.
Communicate quality updates and concerns effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with relevant technical developments and maintain safe working practices.
Deliver all assigned work on time and in line with quality expectations.
Support with additional tasks as required within the quality function.What We're Looking For:

Experience working within or closely alongside a production environment.
Confident advising on quality issues and contributing to real-time problem-solving on the shop floor.
GCSEs in Maths and Science (A-C) are desirable but not essential.
Previous experience in a laboratory or quality control setting is beneficial - full training will be provided.
Highly methodical with excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
A strong team player with great communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude.
