Position: Quality Engineer
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a global specialist manufacturing business, are on the hunt for a Quality Engineer to join their fast paced, ever-growing business!

Role and Responsibilities –
In this role you are going to be the main driving force for maintaining and improving product process and quality. Required to be a strong auditor and undertake hands on inspection of parts. Needing to have a proactive approach on identifying root cause and implementation of robust corrective actions.

Other responsibilities include:

Support engineering in creation and implementation of NPI, DFMEA and PPAP documentation
Work with the Supplier Quality Engineer on Non-conformance reporting within the international supply chain.
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and product to ensure quality specifications are met.
Perform product and process audits against audit schedules and upon request.
Experience or Qualifications –

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or extensive industry experience
Understanding and experience of operating Quality Management System to ISO9001 & 14001 standards.
Proficient in the use of manual measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers & Height gauges.
Knowledge of wet paint application and associated processes. (desirable)
