Quality Technician

We are seeking a Quality Technician / Co-ordinator to be based on-site supporting a customer program in Wolverhampton. The desired candidate will have previous experience in working in a support role to Quality Engineers and Quality Teams, with an understanding of parts quarantine processes.

Pay rate: £18.50 per hour

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: 1 year +

This role is temp-to-perm or can be worked on a contract basis, with it being inside IR35.

The support will include:

Booking parts in to quarantine
Preparing parts / paperwork packages ready for disposition (triage)
Recording of triage output (rework, scrap, return etc.)
Post triage part processing, including clear segregation of parts based on triage output
Handling issues as they arise
Maintain quality documentation and SAP in relation to the activities performed Experience requirements:

Must have previous experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace.
Ideally experienced as a Quality Technician or similar
Knowledge / experience of AS9100 standards highly advantageous
Ideally some Engineering knowledge or background
Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
Ability to meet targets and achieve results
Excellent computer skills
Ability to prioritise workload, and meet stringent deadlines.
Based in a commutable distance of Wolverhampton
