We are currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Basildon, £44,000, specifically within the aerospace manufacturing sector. The company specialises in manufacturing and assembling components for the aerospace, defence, and space industries. We have a strong focus on machining complex parts, including those for landing gear, hydraulics, actuation, and more. Our precision engineering solutions are supported by a stringent Quality Management System (QMS) and advanced inspection capabilities.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of complaint resolution, including communication with customers and internal teams, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions. Leads MRB activities, interprets drawings and standards for disposition, and maintains route cards and supporting documentation. Conducts data analysis to identify and support improvement initiatives, applying tools such as 8D and RCA. Also supports the ongoing management and development of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all business activities comply with its requirements.

We maintain temperature-controlled quality control facilities and ensure full traceability to uphold aerospace-grade quality. Our operations consistently meet high standards.
