Are you currently working as a Quality Engineer or inspector, looking to progress your career within the Aerospace/defence sector?

Are you keen to learn, based within a commutable distance to Reading and have a sound understanding of ISO?

LDNY People are currently working in partnership with a leading company in the Aerospace sector, they are very well established with some great clients, they can offer a clear path of career progression and long term job security.

They currently have an opportunity for a Quality Engineer to join their existing quality team. They are open to inspectors looking to take the next step to quality engineer or someone who is already performing a similar role.

Quality Engineer Role Requirements (training offered if you don’t tick some of the boxes).

  • Working to AS9100/ISO9001/ISO4001 standards

  • Undertaking internal supplier Audits

  • Complete NC reports for customers (8D etc)

  • Coordination of MSA/PPAP

  • Investigating Customer Return Items

  • Compiling KPI’s

  • C of C sign off

  • Familiar with using inspection instruments (Callipers and Micrometres, Heigh Gauge, CMM (additional training offered)

  • Completing 5 way/8D reports for internal NC’s and rejects

  • Carry out other quality related tasks (supporting QAM and managing customer and certifying body audits).

  • Administration of approved supplier list

  • A good level of written and spoken English and right to work in the UK is required for this position

  • Located within a commutable distance of Reading.
