Position: Production Supervisor
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire
Job Type: Permanent / Onsite

My client, a global specialist manufacturing business, are on the hunt for a Production Supervisor to join their fast paced, ever-growing business!

Role and Responsibilities –
Working closely with the Operations Supervisor and Team Leaders you will look to manage the day-to-day operation of production for one of the two UK manufacturing sites. This will include ensuring production targets are achieved, maintaining quality standards and ensuring health and safety protocols are followed throughout the workshop.

Other responsibilities include:

Work with the Operations Team to identify and assist in implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
To ensure that all production team members work safely and diligently within the production area, with a focus on WIP management.
Lead daily production team meetings and record production metrics such as downtime, quality issues and manning.
Ensure that the production team adhere to all controlled documentation outlined by the Quality Management System
Experience or Qualifications –

Highly proven experience working within a production/manufacturing environment having lead a team for some of it.
Basic understanding of KPIs, Quality Management Systems and Safety Standards.
Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently to all levels of the business, both written and verbal
Ability to identify, analyse, root cause and implement solutions to raised issues.
