Are you a mechanical design engineer with experience in the automotive or marine industry looking to join a reputable company, known as a market leader in its field, that offers progression and a weekdays only role?

This company is the principal supplier of bespoke small and medium calibre firearm weapon mounts in the UK. The company offer solutions for a range of machines operating on land, the sea and air. The complete product cycle is completed at this business from concept to delivery.

In this role the suitable candidate will be expected to work on machines for land and sea. As design engineer you will need to complete initial drawings for products and then produce 2D and 3D CAD renderings to assist the manufacturing team. You will need to train others within the team to increase the skillset of the team around you.

The Role:

8:30 - 4:30 Monday - Friday
Work on land and sea projects to provide bespoke solutions for customers
Train others within the business to raise the standards of the workforce
Comfortably work in a team of 6 designers to bring products from concept stage to renderings
Operate cohesively interdepartmentally to provide support throughout the product cycle to deliver the highest quality productsThe Person:

Experience in automotive or marine engineering
Experience in a similar role
Experience with SolidWorks
