Now is an exciting time to join a rapidly growing site in North Wales, designing and developing new mechanical and optical systems.

In addition to designing, you will be working with a multidisciplinary team supporting technology transfer to manufacturing.

This is a great opportunity to see your ideas through from concept through prototyping, testing and into manufacture.

Working across a broad range of products for applications in Aerospace, Defence and Life Sciences, you will find yourself involved in all areas of design.

Proving your concepts you will work closely with the customers, as well as with Sales and Engineering teams internally.

Experience:

As the successful Mechanical Design Development Engineer you should have 3 or more years experience of mechanical design within a precision industry.

Good working knowledge of 3D CAD, design, assembly creation, producing engineering drawings in accordance with BS.8888.

Design experience must include design of precision components, machines, and packaging electronics into enclosures.

Ideally you will have a good understanding of qualification standards including MIL, STANAG, ESCC/ECSS.

Qualifications:

A Bachelors Level Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Design is required.

Additional Information:

Candidates MUST be resident in the UK, and eligible to work and live in the UK. Copies of Passports and Visas will be requested for verification.
