Our client is a major manufacturer of bearings for the automotive and aerospace industries, they are truly global with a presence in over 129 countries! They are looking for Semi-Skilled Operators to join their busy manufacturing team.

If you’d like to work for a globally renowned manufacturer, and you have a mechanical background with manufacturing and/or production experience, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!


Shift patterns: Mon to Thurs- 05:50-14:00 and 13:50 – 22:00

Fridays 05:50-11:20 and 11:10-16:40.


There’s also good holiday entitlement + pension contribution, as well as free onsite parking & Medicash employee assistance program.

Depending on experience you would complete a range of duties which can include:

  • Support manufacturing process requirements
  • Work to aerospace quality standards
  • Actively participate and support Manufacturing Excellence
  • Uphold Health and Safety Regulations

What experience will Semi-Skilled Operators need?

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Understanding tolerances torque and measurements
  • To provide general support to team leader / manager in maintaining and improving overall effectiveness of the channel
  • Ability to work to local quality standards
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing/Production environment
  • Ability to work Safely and methodically
  • Ability work to standardised work procedures and policies
  • Experience of working on manufacturing Lines
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing (5s, Material Flow)
  • Machine operating, some experience of- Milling, Turing, CNC operations -beneficial not essential
