CNC Turner – Operator & Setter
Salary: £14.16 per hour
Location: Nottingham, NG15
Shifts: Full Time, Afters - 38 hours per week - Monday to Thursday - 2pm to 11:30pm.
This is a permanent full-time position
Generations People is recruiting for an exciting opportunity, we are currently looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our clients After team in the Hucknall area.
They are a well-established precision engineering company, manufacturing components for the aerospace sector.

The successful candidate will be from a mechanical engineering background being fully skilled in the operating of CNC machines with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.
Responsibilities for the CNC Turner role:
Your duties will include:

  • Operating CNC machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications.
  • Monitor the CNC machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision measuring instruments.
    Essential Skills and Competences:
  • Be organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task.
  • Work cleanly, tidily and considerately of co-workers.
  • Ensure consistent quality.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Experience and understanding of working in aerospace, would also be beneficial.
    Quality is at the core of what they do and therefore the successful candidate will be someone who is initiative-taking, dependable and has a positive attitude to join their team.
