Purpose of the Role

As the Logistics & Fulfilment Manager, you will oversee warehouse, dispatch, and fulfilment operations across multiple sites, ensuring fast, accurate, and efficient order processing. You’ll play a crucial role in optimising logistics as we scale, maintaining next-day delivery standards, and ensuring stock accuracy for wholesale and direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfilment.

This role spans two sites, including a satellite location near our Porthleven Roastery, requiring multi-site expertise and the ability to make quick operational decisions in a fast-paced environment. FMCG experience is highly advantageous.

What You’ll Do

Fulfillment & Dispatch

  4. Identify and implement automation tools or process improvements to streamline fulfillment.
  5. Monitor and manage courier and shipping provider performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely deliveries.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  1. Oversee the Supervisors and stock movement across both sites.
  2. Ensure accurate inventory tracking, stock rotation, and space optimisation within the warehouse.
  3. Work with the Supply Chain Manager to forecast stock needs, ensuring seamless supply to production and fulfillment teams.
  4. Implement stock control procedures to reduce waste and discrepancies.
  5. Ensure warehouse operations align with safety and compliance standards.

Multi-Site Operations & Logistics

  1. Manage logistics between the two operational sites, ensuring efficient movement of stock and supplies.
  2. Lead site-specific process improvements to optimise workflows.
  3. Work closely with production, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure a synchronised supply chain.
  4. Maintain a deep understanding of stock levels, demand fluctuations, and storage capacity across both sites.

Team Leadership & Performance

  1. Lead, motivate, and develop the fulfillment and warehouse teams to deliver high performance.
  2. Support team members' hiring, training, and development, ensuring cross-training for seasonal flexibility.
  3. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and accountability.

Process Improvement & Logistics Strategy

  1. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives within fulfillment and logistics.
  2. Work cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to align logistics strategies with business growth.
  3. Monitor key logistics KPIs, including fulfillment speed, order accuracy, and warehouse efficiency.
  4. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety (H&S) regulations across both sites.

This role reports to the Head of Operations, ensuring seamless logistics, fulfillment efficiency, and alignment with Origin’s operational strategy.

What You'll Bring

Skills and Behaviours

  1. Proven multi-site experience, operating at scale, managing logistics and fulfilment across two or more locations.
