Job Description Summary
During a time of excited and continued growth, we are looking for an HR Manager to join our dynamic team, onsite at our cutting-edge manufacturing site in Brockworth, near Gloucester.

Dowty (a GE Aerospace business) is a turnkey, self-contained manufacturing site, producing market-leading handmade composite carbon fibre propeller systems for Civil and Defence partners worldwide.

A key stakeholder to our core teams in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, LEAN, and Production, this role provides HR support for client group Leaders, Managers, and Employees on organizational and employee matters, as well as coaching, HR process expertise, and other general HR activities.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employees & managers (approximately 240-250 stakeholders), providing coaching and support for individual needs & HR processes within the HR Partnership Model.

Act as the HR Manager of record for a specific client group, with an in-depth understanding of key business drivers and how your team's work integrates with others to contribute to overall goals.

Develop in-depth knowledge of HR disciplines, applying prior experience and expertise to execute policies and strategies.

Operate as an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with colleagues and the business about services rendered.

Provide informal guidance to new team members and explain complex information in straightforward situations.

Impact projects, processes, and procedures within your field, operating with some autonomy but within standard practices and procedures, using professional judgment.

Utilize technical expertise and judgment to solve problems, leveraging multiple internal sources to inform decisions.

Required Qualifications

Advanced experience in Human Resources & Employee Management, with knowledge comparable to a Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

Desired Characteristics

Proven ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Experience in documenting, planning, and executing programs.

Project management skills; operational HR partnership experience in manufacturing or engineering is highly desirable.
