Profile – Accounts Receivable Team Leader

Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century.

Job Role – Accounts Receivable Team Leader

The AR Team Leader, you'll be leading a team undertaking Credit Control, Dispute Management and Commercial Support activities. Your role is instrumental in motivating, coaching and developing the team.

Duties – Accounts Receivable Team Leader

• Support the AR Credit Manager with KPI performance reviews, risk reviews, and ad hoc reporting. Responsible for providing a professional and cooperative end-to-end service to both our internal and external customers.
• Drive an engaged team through objective setting, PDR management, 1:1's, feedback, team meetings, Values & Behaviours.
• Deliver consistent, accurate and timely information to the business with records maintained for internal and external reporting requirements and audit.
• Coordinate, manage and develop the work of a team of staff to deliver team KPIs and maximise their effectiveness and contribution to the wider business targets.
• Responsible for delivery of day-to-day performance within the team - ensuring targets and productivity are met.
• Arrange for and monitor delivery of external audit requests for information and operate within the business controls framework, following relevant process documents such as the Credit Policy and Risk and Control Framework.

Experience/Qualifications – Accounts Receivable Team Leader

• Experience managing a team
• Proven experience in leading a credit control and/or query resolution role
• Experience and understanding of processing commercial claims and related systems
• Customer Service Experience
• Excellent IT Skills (Microsoft Office, SAP)

Candidates who are currently a Accounts Receivable Supervisor, Accounts Receivable Manager, AR Leam Lead, Credit and Collections Supervisor, Billing and Receivables Supervisor, Finance Team Leader and Lead Accounts Receivable Manager could be suitable for this position.
