AUDIO VISUAL HOME AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN

Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Home Automation Technician to enhance our technical operations. This role focuses on assisting the engineering team with the installation, maintenance, and support of automation and security systems.

Key Responsibilities

TV & Satellite Systems: Assist with the installation and upkeep of TV and satellite systems.
Automation Solutions: Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver and maintain automation systems, including lighting and AV control.
IT & Networking: Support the configuration and setup of IT networks, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
Security Systems: Aid in the installation and maintenance of CCTV, NVRs, and other security equipment.
AV & Network Racks: Help assemble and install AV and network racks.
Client Support: Provide remote technical assistance via phone or online platforms.
Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering reports for management review.Essential Skills & Experience

Demonstrated experience in maintaining and setting up TV and satellite systems.
Proficient in programming software for lighting and AV control systems.
Strong background in IT and networking, including the configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls.
Knowledge of Ubiquiti Unifi is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with CCTV and NVR systems installation and maintenance.
Familiarity with AV and network rack setup.Qualifications

Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in engineering or computing (BTEC, National Diploma, undergraduate degree, or equivalent).
A valid, clean UK driving license.Candidate Profile
