£13.50 - £16:00 p/h dependant on experience

Day shift from 08:00 am to 5:00 Temporary to permanent position after 12 weeks dependant on performance and punctuality

We're looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join a reputable Press Tooling manufacturer. With strong connections in the aerospace, automotive, and construction sectors and a growing presence across Europe, our client requires a dedicated team member to uphold exceptional quality standards.

This role requires someone with outstanding communication and people skills.  A key element of this role will be the confidence to appropriately challenge the production teams where any quality concerns are raised. An in depth knowledge of the process requirements will be key in root cause analysis and any improvements required for greater accuracy.  Additionally a solid background in Quality Control and rectification, skill in visual inspection and the use of specialist measuring tools. If you've got at least 2 years of experience in a similar role, we want to hear from you. 

Requirements of a Quality Technician include:

Keen eye for detail
Good track record with attendance and timekeeping
Proven background as a shop floor QC Technician
Familiar with at least two of the following: Shadowgraphs, Contracer, CMM, Surf-test, video measuring tools
Ability to use basic quality tools such as verniers, callipers, micrometres
Able to measure down to thous
