Join a leading Aerospace & Defence innovator in Southampton as an experienced Manufacturing Technician. You'll play a key role in producing high‑precision components used in cutting‑edge electro‑optic systems, working in a clean, modern, and highly controlled environment.

What You'll Be Doing

Precision and micro‑assembly using hand tools, microscopes, and specialist fixtures

Testing and inspection of electro‑optic and electronic components

Handling small, delicate, and high‑tolerance parts with accuracy

Following detailed work instructions, drawings, and quality standards

Completing production documentation and reporting issues clearly

Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work areaWhat You'll Bring

Previous manufacturing or assembly experience (essential)

Excellent attention to detail and a strong quality mindset

Confident manual dexterity and fine motor control

Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures

Computer literacy including Microsoft OfficeDesirable Experience

Aerospace, Defence, Electronics, Optics, or Semiconductor manufacturing

Cleanroom or controlled‑environment work

SAP ERP knowledgeWorking Environment

Modern Aerospace & Defence manufacturing facility

Controlled‑temperature or cleanroom areas (role‑dependent)

Repetitive fine‑motor tasks with periods of sitting or standingAdditional Information

Due to project requirements, this role is open to sole UK nationals only. Hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
