About SatVu

SatVu reveals operational reality from space, monitoring facilities and activities from our constellation of thermal imagery satellites. SatVu’s thermal intelligence shows what is happening, whether an asset is on or off, hot or not. SatVu delivers the highest fidelity commercial space‑based thermal intelligence, an activity intelligence layer that answers the critical question: when is this asset active. At 3.5 m resolution (GSD), day and night, MWIR thermal data captures the operational heartbeat of infrastructure at the asset level, exposing operational reality continuously, anywhere on Earth.

The HotSat constellation delivers the highest fidelity commercial space‑based thermal intelligence as a decision‑grade activity intelligence layer, enabling asset‑level visibility into operational status across infrastructure globally.

HotSat-2 launched in March 2026 and is now serving a wide range of National Security, Economic Monitoring, and Climate Resilience missions. HotSat-3 will launch in October 2026, with HotSat-4 through HotSat-6 under contract and a roadmap to a nine-satellite constellation delivering 10 to 20 revisits per day.

This is an exciting moment to join a high-growth, capital-intensive business.

The Role

We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to play a critical role in developing our product communications strategy and developing our product collateral. This role reports to the Chief Technology Officer as a key member of the SatVu Product Management team.

Please note: This is a Product Marketing role, not a Field Marketing, Demand Generation, or Growth Marketing position. You'll focus on product positioning, messaging, commercialisation, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement — working closely with Product Management and Engineering rather than owning campaign execution or lead generation.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute SatVu’s Product Marketing strategy across the product lifecycle, including positioning, messaging, product launches, and go-to-market communications for SatVu’s thermal imagery products and Earth Observation services.

  • Develop a deep working knowledge of SatVu’s products, HotSat constellation capabilities, APIs, data delivery workflows, GIS tools, and product roadmap, using this knowledge to clearly communicate customer value.

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Imagery Science, Satellite Operations, Sales, and Customer Success to translate technical capabilities, product features, and customer requirements into differentiated, outcome-focused messaging.

  • Develop and maintain product positioning, value propositions, platform messaging, and industry-specific narratives for SatVu’s priority markets, including National Security, Economic Monitoring, Climate Resilience, Energy, and Infrastructure.

  • Create and coordinate high-impact product content and sales enablement materials, including presentations, demonstrations, data sheets, battlecards, customer vignettes, StoryMaps, graphics, imagery, animations, and ROI-oriented collateral.

  • Support enterprise sales opportunities, customer projects, digital campaigns, product announcements, and cross-functional go-to-market initiatives.

  • Maintain SatVu’s Product Marketing asset library and product-focused website content, ensuring materials are current, technically accurate, visually compelling, and accessible to customer-facing teams.

  • Conduct competitive and market research, gather insights from customers and Sales, and define appropriate KPIs to evaluate and continuously improve positioning, product adoption, campaigns, content, and sales effectiveness.

Requirements

Essential experience

  • Mid- to senior-level hands-on experience in product marketing, with a background in B2B product marketing, technical data products, or space and geospatial-related environments.

  • Experience in Earth Observation, geospatial technology, remote sensing, satellite data, or a comparably technical data product environment.

  • Working knowledge of APIs, data delivery workflows, GIS tools, and product roadmaps.

  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling customer stories.

  • Experience working with senior leadership, product and engineering teams, commercial teams, and external customers and partners.

  • Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing, Lean Startup, and comparable B2B product marketing methodologies.

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.

Desirable

  • Formal education in a related field is a plus.

  • Startup/scale‑up experience.

Why Join SatVu

  • The opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK’s most ambitious space start-ups – developing a completely new and cutting-edge technology, for a large and accessible market.

  • Work in a dynamic, collaborative and high-growth environment.

  • Collaborate with and learn from a team of experienced and talented individuals.

  • Make a significant impact on urgent global themes—defence & intelligence, economic security, and climate.
