Role/Job Title: Propulsion System Product Owners
Work Location: Onsite, Midlands UK (5 days)
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Product Owner to lead the development and delivery of propulsion system solutions. This role will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of propulsion system projects, including electric, hybrid, or internal combustion technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the product backlog for propulsion system features, ensuring alignment with OEM's strategy and sustainability goals.
  • Collaborate with system architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define clear and testable requirements.
  • Prioritise backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
  • Lead PI planning, sprint planning, and backlog grooming sessions in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of propulsion system features that meet performance, efficiency, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, program management, and senior leadership.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, feature readiness, and system integration milestones.
