My client, an industry leading aerospace engineering firm are currently seeking aCNC Machine Shop Operativeto join their manufacturing team.

As aCNC Machine Shop Operative, you will work with a team producing precision-engineered components to exact specifications and strict quality standards using CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling processes.

As aCNC Machine Shop Operative, you will:

• Operate and maintain CNC machines used in the production of components and products
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure components meet required tolerances
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times

The successfulCNC Machine Shop Operative will have:

• Experience of using CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Shift pattern

Mon-Thurs 6am-4.30pm and Fri 6am-2.30pm, (48 hours)

Due to the early start time, you will need a driving licence and access to your own vehicle to get to site.
