Team Leader - Middle Wallop - JR2410_0167'Join us in revolutionizing aerospace logistics-where precision meets innovation in every package'YOUR ROLEWe are looking for a Shift leader to be part of an effective and efficient team providing warehousing services for an operation at Middle Wallop within our Aerospace division. Reporting to the Contract Process Manager, the shift leader will be responsible for the effective operation of an alternating early and late shift covering from 05:30-14:00 and 13:30-22:00. You will lead a small team of warehouse staff, supporting the processes which are carried out within the department.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESReview daily performance of your team and to ensure that all internal and customer KPIs associated with the team are achievedActively communicate with other agencies to achieve joint goalsAttend daily production meetings run by the on-site engineering staffEnsure productivity and performance reports are compiled, distributed and discussed with teamin order to assess, review and improve operational performanceContinuously develop a highly customer focused and motivated team, and help drive PS andSC21 principlesFair and consistent supervision of all employeesManage the department workloads/resource allocation on a daily basisPromote the Company's policies on Quality, Health and Safety and EnvironmentUndertake all warehousing duties, including operation of MHEReport all discrepancies that may have an effect on the performance of the contract to the Process ManagerCarry out any additional tasks as agreed with the Process Manager.YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCESKnowledge of the military aerospace logisticsExperience of working to agreed targets and specific processes, with good attention to detailUnderstanding of and experience in warehouse practicesAbility to work individually and manage a small teamReliable, with good timekeeping and communication skillsFlexibility, including task and hoursThe ideal candidate will be PC literate with a working knowledge of MJDI and Microsoft OfficeFull driving license essential and be prepared to operate MHE (including FLT)Please be aware that by applying for this role, you are agreeing to participate in the employment screening process.
