Position: Sheet Metal/Press Brake Operator

Based: Gloucestershire

Salary: £28,000+ (DOE) plus excellent employee benefits package

Working for an established manufacture of parts and products for a global market, supporting the needs of the MOD, Medical and Aerospace Sectors. Working in a modern, well-equipped manufacturing environment which offers excellent working conditions and plenty of self-development and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate press brake machinery safely and accurately to meet production targets.

  • Bend and form sheet metal components to precise specifications.

  • Work with a range of hand and machined inspection and measurement equipment

  • Able to work from complex engineered customer specifications

  • Support other fabrication processes as required.

  • Ensure all work aligns with rigorous quality standards.

  • Maintain a tidy, organised, and safety-conscious workspace.

    Essential Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrate expertise in setting and operating press brake machines.

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Eagerness to expand skills in new machinery, tooling, and software.

  • Solid understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.

  • A dependable team player with excellent communication skills.

  • Physically capable of handling manual tasks with care and precision.
