Senior Test Development Engineer
Location – Fife or Essex (4 days p/week on site)
12 months - Inside IR35
Copello are working with a leading defence and aerospace company operating across the United Kingdom looking for a Senior Test Development Engineer with strong experience in hardware test development to join our growing engineering team.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining hardware test solutions for both analogue and digital electronic systems. You’ll work closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure robust and efficient testing processes from concept through to production.
Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven background in hardware test development
  • Strong experience with LabVIEW and ideally TestStand
  • Solid understanding of analogue and digital circuit design
  • Familiarity with automated test systems and instrumentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve test processes and hardware performance
  • This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on technically challenging projects in a forward-thinking environment
