Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Windows/VMware - Aerospace & Defence - Up to £57,000

My client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support critical SIM/STIM test rig capabilities, underpinning the verification of cutting-edge safety systems for military applications. This role offers the chance to work in secure, standalone Windows and VMware environments across multiple sites, where your expertise will directly contribute to national defence operations.

Experience needed:

  • Strong 2nd/3rd line IT support experience in Windows and VMware environments.
  • Proficient in managing VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter, ideally with VCP certification.
  • Skilled in Windows Server (Apply online only)), systems migration, patching, and disaster recovery.
  • Bonus: Microsoft Server certification, Linux admin experience, or Network+/CCNA credentials.
