Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Aviation Design Organisation who are seeking to add senior design Engineers specialising in electronics or firmware engineerig for avionics and maritime applications.

Responcibilities

  • Design and simulate schematics (OrCAD and KiCAD experience preferred).

  • Review PCB layouts (experience with Allegro is a plus).

  • Develop embedded firmware (VHDL and C).

  • Support verification and qualification processes (knowledge of DO-178, DO-254, BS EN 61508 beneficial).

  • Take ownership of assigned work packages, ensuring timely delivery within budget and technical requirements.

    Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or similar in a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in electronic design and development.

  • Strong schematic design and capture skills (OrCAD experience ideal).

  • Proficiency in embedded programming.

  • Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

  • holding or eligibility for Security Clearance
