Location: Bolton

Salary: Negotiable + pension + 25 holidays + training & career progression

Hours: 36 hours per week Monday – Friday / early finish Friday

The Person:

  • Experience of designing special purpose machinery

  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering, and experience producing designs for manufacture.

  • 2D and 3D experience (AutoCAD, Solidworks etc)

  • Understand motor and gearbox power, material and equipment throughput rates.

  • ATEX or PED understanding would be useful.

  • Designing machinery for food or chemical process would be an advantage

    The Role:

  • Evaluate and assess customer specifications / calculations and convert into machine for manufacture.

  • Collaborate and interact with technical sales engineers.

  • Working on projects from concept to completion

  • Create manufacturing drawings.
