Our client are a precision manufacturing company, who are looking to strengthen their team by hiring an experienced Senior Account Manager, with industry experience.

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a commercially astute, self-starting Senior Account Manager with a strong background in complex manufacturing or engineering environments. You will take immediate ownership of key customer accounts and play a pivotal role in driving commercial success and operational excellence. The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for leading and managing the account management team to drive customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term partnerships. This role will oversee key customer relationships, develop strategies to enhance customer engagement, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the company meets performance, delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction targets. You will possess strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a track record of success in account management and customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients

Process client orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with aerospace industry standards

Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates to clients, addressing any issues or changes as they arise

Prepare and submit sales quotations and proposals, clearly articulating product features, pricing, and delivery timelines

Generate and manage invoices, ensuring prompt billing and follow-up on payment status whilst liaise with Accounts

Leadership & Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of Account Managers, providing coaching, development, and performance reviews

Set clear objectives and KPIs for the account management team

Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team

Ensure you and your team adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required

Client Relationship Management:

Serve as the primary point of contact for high-priority or strategic clients

Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, understanding their goals and business needs

Ensure exceptional service delivery by overseeing the management of client accounts.

Client Retention & Satisfaction:

Implement strategies to increase client retention and reduce churn

Monitor and measure client satisfaction, taking proactive steps to address concerns and deliver solutions

Conduct regular business reviews with clients to discuss performance and growth opportunities

Account Growth & Strategy:

Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services

Work with the sales team to develop account growth strategies

Oversee the development of strategic plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring alignment with company objectives

Collaboration & Cross-Departmental Support:

Work closely with the sales, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of client projects

Provide client insights to other departments to inform product development and service delivery improvements.

Ensure proper communication of client needs, challenges, and feedback within the company.

Reporting & Analysis:

Analise account performance data, client feedback, and market trends to guide decision making

Develop and deliver regular reports on account performance, client satisfaction, and opportunities

Track progress towards business goals and adjust strategies as necessary

Experience:

7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field

Proven experience in a leadership role, managing teams and client relationships

Proven track record of managing high-value customer relationships and driving revenue
growth
