Position: Business Development Manager

Location: North UK (Ideally based close to M62 Corridor)

Salary: £Negotiable

The Company: Machine Tools/ Work holding

The Role:

  • The successful candidate will ideally be Northern England based (Ideally along the M62 corridor) and you will be a Sales Engineering professional in either Machine Tool or the Work holding Field.

  • Developing and implementing field sales strategies and action plans.

  • Implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results.

  • Active consulting and support of the customers.

  • Identification of customer needs and offering of work holding solutions.

  • Compelling presentation and sales of their product range on site and Online

  • Increasing sales and market share.

  • Acquisition of new customers & to extend the customer base in an already very established area.

  • Participation in trade shows and customer open houses.

  • Establishing and adjusting selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participation in professional societies.

    Focussing on:

  • 1st Tier Aerospace, Defence, Medical Companies and Gear manufacturers & General Engineering.

  • Irish Market North and South.

  • New Business.

  • CentroteX market development across all markets.

    Requirements:

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or similar.

  • Several years of direct sales experience in the machine tool industry.

  • Excellent communication and networking skills combined with high customer orientation

  • PC knowledge Microsoft Office, Good general IT skills
