Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute Salesforce data migration projects, including planning, mapping, and transferring data from legacy systems to Salesforce.
  • Perform data imports and exports using tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and third-party integration tools.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data mapping and ensure accurate and efficient data transfer.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Salesforce’s data model, including objects, fields, relationships, and standard and custom entities.

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, ensuring that all Salesforce data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
  • Lead efforts to clean, de-duplicate, and validate data before and after migrations or imports.
  • Identify and resolve data-related issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide expertise and best practices on data governance, data security, and efficient data management strategies in Salesforce.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data management processes, including migration, imports, and exports.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce admins, developers, and stakeholders to ensure data aligns with business requirements.
  • Ensure data migration and import/export processes do not affect reporting or analytical capabilities.

Whatwe’re looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Data Lead, Data Architect, or similar role with a focus on Salesforce data management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and field types.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce data import/export tools such as Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, and third-party integration tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to map data from various sources, execute migrations, and work with data mapping documents.
  • Experience with data validation, cleansing, and de-duplication techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve data-related issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with both technical and business teams.
  • Experience with Salesforce Integration tools (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Informatica Cloud Data Integration) and API management.
