Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager within a well-established precision manufacturing company based in Coventry. This is a position suited to candidates with a solid background within sales and a strong understanding of machining within Aerospace or Oil & Gas.
 
Role responsibilities –

For the Sales Manager role, you will establish and deliver the strategy for profitable sales growth for the Company. To review the Sales Channels and to determine the best strategy for profitable Business Development.
Delivering robust and sustainable growth in a diverse range of market segments, whilst improving the Margins through the efficiency and effectiveness of solution sales is vital.
For the Sales Manager role, you will be an active member of the Senior Management Team to develop and execute plans that grow the profitability of the business overall, in line with capabilities, consistently, with acceptable risk and in line with the strategic goals of the Company.
Develop World Class processes and procedures for the Sales function in order to deliver from first contact, through technical discussions, quotation process, winning contracts to delivering the Goods ‘right first time’.
To be the Senior Commercial contact: to provide commercial input on Contracts and other ‘legal’ documents. To make decisions (in line with Corporate Responsibility Matrix) on pricing / margins / terms and conditions.
To manage some of the key strategic accounts personally in order to provide appropriate focus to those customers with greatest strategic importance to the business.
To ‘Project Manage’ significant opportunities to ensure Customer and Company satisfaction.
Lead, develop, grow and maintain the Sales Team ensuring people are accountable and setting high standards. Motivating, mentoring and developing people to achieve high levels of performance in line with a world class organisation will be required for the Sales Manager role.
For the role of Sales Manager, you will gather and analyse useful market and competitive intelligence, attend Trade Fairs and modify the marketing tools (including CRM systems and website development).
Gather and analyse Business Information, Data, Performance Metrics and KPIs for Self and Sales Team. Use this data to modify, adapt and improve (or maintain) performance.
Create a Marketing Strategy in line with the requirements of the overall Strategy / Operational Plan
Prepare monthly reports of KPIs for the Senior Management Team on Sales Performance, Growth Plans, Customer Service, and other agreed metrics, along with action plans for Continuous Improvement.
Contribute to annual strategy/sales and marketing budget process.
Contribute to annual Cap Ex budget to identify investments which will drive profitable revenue generation.
Develop accurate revenue forecasts and track performance against targets, making adjustments as needed to achieve growth objectives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up to date with industry trends and market developments to inform account strategies.
Provide leadership and mentorship to account managers and other team members.
Develop accurate revenue forecasts and track performance against targets, making adjustments as needed to achieve growth objectives. 
Role requirements –

You will be experienced within sales and customer service for the role of Sales Manager.
For the role of Sales Manager, you will be experienced within manufacturing, having a background within machining for the Aerospace or Oil & gas industries.
A background with mentoring and building teams and being a true team player.
