We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering consultancy that is expanding itsspecialist Systems Engineering team, offering exciting opportunities to work on high-profilenational infrastructure projects in the nuclear sector.


About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established consultancy, applyingrisk management methodologiesto ensure system availability, reliability, and maintainability from the early stages of development. Roles are available fromGraduate to Principal level, with responsibilities scaling accordingly.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conductrisk-based reliability and functional safety assessmentsfor complex engineering systems.
  • Apply methodologies such asFMEA, FTA, RBD, HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA.
  • Implement and assessReliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA).
  • Engage withstakeholdersto ensure dependability objectives are met.
  • Providetechnical leadershipand mentorship to junior engineers (for Senior and Principal roles).
  • Preparedetailed technical reportsand present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.


What We’re Looking For

  • Adegreein engineering, mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience inreliability, maintainability, and safety analysis(level dependent on role).
  • Strong knowledge ofengineering risk assessment techniques.
  • Ability to workboth independently and within a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience producing high-quality reports.
  • Experience in thenuclear, aerospace, defence, or other safety-critical industriesis highly desirable.
  • SC Clearance eligibilityis essential.
