The Opportunity:
We’re seeking a proactive and driven Supplier Quality Engineer with AS9100 auditing experience to join a high-performing Quality team. This role is critical in ensuring supplier compliance within the stringent regulatory and quality frameworks of the aerospace sector. You’ll play a key part in improving supplier performance, managing audits, and supporting robust and traceable supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive consistent quality, reliability, and AS9100 compliance.

Plan and conduct AS9100 supplier audits, assessments, and evaluations to ensure full adherence to aerospace quality standards.

Investigate supplier non-conformances and lead effective root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (RCCA).

Support supplier onboarding, qualification, and approval processes in line with aerospace quality and documentation requirements.

Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to support product integrity and supplier development.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the aerospace supply chain to enhance quality and performance.

Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in a Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or related role within an aerospace manufacturing environment.

Certified or demonstrable experience in AS9100 auditing, with deep understanding of aerospace quality management systems.

Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies: 8D, RCCA, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, and control plans.

Comfortable working with both local and international aerospace suppliers.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and compliance.

Technical or engineering background desirable (HNC/HND/Degree preferred).
