  • Drive innovation by integrating alternative propulsion technologies (full electric, hybrid, future fuels) and emission-reduction solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with naval/maritime regulations, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  • Develop operational modes, control and monitoring specifications, and system optimisation strategies.
  • Collaborate with design, production, and operational teams to achieve seamless integration into ship designs.
  • Provide specialist guidance during both construction and in-service phases.

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Marine, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline (Master’s welcomed).
  • Expertise in propulsion technologies, power generation/distribution, and energy management systems.
  • Knowledge of emission-reduction solutions and future fuel integration, including associated safety considerations.
  • Familiarity with classification society rules and naval/maritime design codes.
  • Proficiency with engineering tools such as 2D/3D CAD and analysis software.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project delivery skills.

What We Offer:

  • The chance to lead high-profile naval projects that define the future of maritime defence.
  • A collaborative environment where your expertise and ideas are valued.
  • Hybrid working arrangements for a balanced work-life approach.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Be the driving force behind tomorrow’s naval capability.

Apply today and lead the propulsion revolution!

Qualifications

  • A degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Masters or equivalent is highly desirable).
  • Significant knowledge in Power and Propulsion engineering, with a strong background in naval or marine engineering projects.
