MDE are currently seeking a Quality Manager for an Aerospace & Defence Component manufacturer just outside of Bristol.

Core to the company ethos is their People, Quality and Technology - backed by AS9100revD accreditation, a very exciting order-book/list of customer approvals, comprehensive training in place to upskill their workforce and significant investment in machinery (their plant list is truly fantastic).

This is an excellent opportunity to have a real impact, take significant ownership, drive the company forward, and assure the delivery mission-critical complex components to high-end sectors, Primes and OEMs.

The Role:

This position is truly core to the business. If you're seeking an environment where, as a Quality Manager, you're enabled to actively input into commercial decision making, drive future order-book alongside commercial heads, and ensure the continued growth, this one is for you.

To control quality throughout the business, ensuring that the organisation meets its customers’ expectations. To manage the quality team and others in promoting a right first-time approach to all tasks within the company. To advise on best measurement techniques and practices and promote a continuous improvement ethos within the business. To work within an AS9100 quality environment. Manage HSE on-site.

The Skills:

AS9100 Lead audit qualification
Experience of as a quality manager in an AS9100 environment.
Experience in a precision machining inspection department.
IOSH and NEBOSH.
Supplier development experience.
