Location: Bilston, West Midlands, UK
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM
(Full-time, permanent position)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Our client has over 70 years history and has grown from crafting small tools for the lock industry to manufacturing high-spec components for industries including Aerospace, Medical, Oil, and Electronics.
They have evolved with the times through CNC innovation, and continue to deliver exceptional quality from their 20,000 sq ft modern facility in the heart of the West Midlands. They are proud holders of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D, proving our ongoing commitment to excellence.

Position Summary
They looking for an experienced and proactive Quality Manager to lead our quality function, ensuring compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement. This is a key leadership role within the business, shaping the future of quality at Parker Precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop the Quality Management System to maintain ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100 Rev D accreditations.
  • Lead internal and external audits, acting as primary point of contact.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a culture of quality throughout the business.
  • Analyse quality performance data and report on KPIs.
  • Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support engineering and production teams in integrating quality throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Manage and mentor a small quality team.
  • Maintain calibration of inspection equipment and tools.
  • Monitor and assess supplier quality; conduct audits when necessary.

    Skills & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a quality management role within precision engineering or a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100 Rev D standards.
  • Background in CNC machining and familiarity with aerospace or medical regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Skilled in quality tools: 8D, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and Six Sigma.
  • Confident leader with strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
