Quality Inspector

Mazco Recruitment is working exclusively with a leading aerospace engineering company based in Gosport, seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join their growing team.

The Role

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring precision, compliance, and product quality within a fast-paced aerospace environment. You’ll be responsible for first-off, in-process, and final inspections across a wide range of complex CNC machined components, working to stringent AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

Carry out dimensional inspection using CMM (programming/operating) and manual measuring equipment.

Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspection of CNC machined aerospace components.

Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer quality standards.

*

Generate and maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and supporting documentation.

*

Work closely with production, engineering, and management teams to resolve quality issues.

*

Support continuous improvement within the quality function.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within an aerospace / precision engineering environment.

*

Strong background in CNC machining and engineering principles.

*

Experience with CMM (ideally PC-DMIS or similar).

*

In-depth knowledge of AS9100 standards.

*

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T.

*

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
