Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a fresh challenge within the advanced engineering sector? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at a bespoke engineering facility in Manchester.

Responsibilities


  • Inspect jobs at various stages of the manufacturing process, including first-off, final inspection, and FAIR inspection, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.

  • Capture and analyze specific measurements as dictated by customer specifications.

  • Produce detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.

  • Utilize CMM/Inspection Arm software (ideally PC-DMIS and PowerInspect; however, training can be provided for other systems).

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to address quality issues and implement improvements.

  • Conduct occasional offsite work as needed.

  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills


  • Proven experience in Quality Inspection within Aerospace, Automotive, or similar regulated industries.

  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including AS9100 standards.

  • Familiarity with FAIR processes and various inspection tools.

  • Ability to read and interpret 3D Models & 2D drawings.

  • IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to meet business needs.
