About the Company

Our client are committed to excellence in the aerospace industry, delivering high-quality products that meet and exceed customer expectations.They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to join their team and ensure compliance with their stringent quality standards.

The Role:

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming and outgoing products, ensuring they meet company, customer, and third-party requirements. You will play a key role in identifying non-conformities, implementing corrective actions, and continuously improving quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections on incoming and outgoing parts.

  • Identify materials for sample inspection based on feedback, non-conformance, and criticality.

  • Create and maintain product inspection checklists and document results.

  • Manage and review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in line with AS9102.

  • Assist with calibration processes, facilitating external calibration visits and internal calibration.

  • Investigate root causes of product failures and liaise with relevant teams to resolve issues.

  • Document product quality concerns and collaborate on improvement strategies.

  • Maintain and review shelf-life inventory within the company.

  • Ensure inspection standards are met for all incoming goods.

    Experience & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of aerospace quality management regulations.

  • Experience with AS9102 and ISO 2859-1 (desirable).

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers).

  • Engineering apprenticeship background (preferred).

  • Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage projects effectively.

  • A team player with a proactive approach.
