Job Location: Bournemouth, Dorset

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Excellent starting salary with overtime paid at x1.5

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 7.45am - 4.15pm & Friday 7.45am – 12.45pm

Overtime: Paid at x1.5, on average 5 hours overtime per week available

Due to an increase in demand for their products, a well-established manufacturing company who work within the aerospace, defence and commercial markets is recruiting for a Quality Inspector to join their team quality team.

The company have a long-standing history and developed & grown every year to where they are now known for the design & manufacture of components and parts.

Working within a small quality team, you will be undertaking the quality inspection of manufactured goods ensuring they are built to customer specifications, industry standards and regulations.

Within this role your main duties will include;

• Carrying out inspections of materials, parts and finished build inspections.
• Performing routine inspections and checking for defects in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
• Using measuring equipment including CMMs to measure to a high level of accuracy and precision.
• Producing Fair Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
• Liaising with customers and the supply chain on any issues and working to solve them

The successful candidate will possess;

• Experience in a quality role within an engineering / manufacturing industry
• Good understanding of quality assurance and ISO 9001 / AS9100.
• Working knowledge of CMM and other inspection techniques
• Competent use of PC
• Excellent communication skills
