*    Full-time, Monday - Thursday 08:25 – 16:55 (1-hour lunch), Friday: 08:30 – 16:30 (30-minute lunch)
*    £24,000 - £27,000 + Bonus + Contributory Pension Scheme + Health Care Scheme

About the Role:

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will ensure the high-quality and timely inspection of incoming products to meet internal and external customer requirements. You will be based at our Fraser Road site in Bedford but will frequently visit our Heat Sealing facility on Napier Road for inspections, so it is essential that you can drive. 

Key Responsibilities:

*    Measurement of product
*    In-coming goods Inspections (KPI)
*    100% inspections of stock
*    Containment and inspection of product after non-conformities have been raised.
*    Support the Quality Assurance Team
*    Move stock on organisations ERP system.
*    Any other duties which are deemed necessary to meet the Organisation’s needs

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for a proactive individual with experience in quality, ideally within an engineering environment. You will have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Skills and Experience:

*    Previous experience of working as part of a Quality function and in accordance with a Company Quality Management System is essential, preferably within an Engineering Environment.
*    Previous inspection experience is essential.
*    Ability to read technical drawings.
*    Contactless Measurement Machine experience preferable, but not essential.
*    Must be able to measure product and have experience using various measurement equipment.
*    Strong communication and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail
*    Ability to prioritise own workload, multi-task and perform effectively under pressure, in a fast-moving environment.
*    Work well as part of a team, and independently, to meet the quality departments deadlines and targets.
*    Full driving licence.
*    Computer literate
