Here at PepsiCo UK&I we are looking for a fantastic Customer Business Manager to manage our Quaker commercial relationships for some of our top customers. Quaker is the no.1 Hot Cereals brand in the UK, so this is a great opportunity for your next career step!

As part of the team, you’ll take ownership of our Grains agenda (Quaker and Scott’s brands). Within the role, you will own joint business plans, conduct complex negotiations, and build strong relationships to unlock incremental opportunities.

This is a great opportunity if you have a passion for building customer relationships and driving the business agenda forward. The key to this role is being able to network and influence others in order to bring them on board with your ideas. You’ll have very strong communication skills to engage with a wide range of customers, internal partners & stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for full ownership of PepsiCo’s Grains business with some of our top Customers (planning, forecasting and execution).
  • Achieve business commercial objectives.
  • Manage external customer relationships with key trading contacts to Senior Buyer level, as well as working with Range & Space planners, Online and Supply.
  • Build strategic Joint Business Plans and Account Plans to deliver mutual PepsiCo and customer growth.
  • Utilise trade investment & trading levers efficiently through negotiation and developing a promotional strategy.
  • Develop and deliver execution for Marketing campaigns and NPD in line with internal expectations and gate targets.
  • Manage an internal matrix of Shopper Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Digital, Category Management teams, as well as coaching our National Account Executive.
  • Key part of Quaker and Customer teams – delivering positive team dynamic and showing role model behaviour.

Qualifications

  • Sales and P&L management experience, including national account ownership.
  • Proven commercial and analytical ability combined with a collaborative mindset in order to manage both the operational and strategic agendas.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with a proven ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to conduct multi-faceted negotiations at both tactical and strategic/contractual level.
  • Experience leading and coaching cross-functional teams with varying backgrounds and experience levels.
  • A customer-centric and innovative approach.
