You will be part of the Global Fluid Intelligence team, as theEquipment Service Engineer,you will work across our European client base installing, maintaining and servicing Quaker Houghton equipment. QH FLUID INTELLIGENCE™ is a fully digital and automated solution that provides real-time monitoring and control of fluid performance and cost that enhances our customers' production and sustainability by driving down waste, risk, and total cost of ownership.




What will you do?


  • Survey customer site in advance of equipment supply and installation.
  • Undertake all aspects of equipment installation and commissioning.
  • Scheduled servicing of manual and automated plant at our client sites including cleaning, inspection and testing as per our standard procedures.
  • Complete detailed audits of plant/machines at client sites, detailing faults and requirements for repairs.
  • Installation, repairs and maintenance of manual and automated plant at our client sites.
  • Generate/specify detailed material list for service, maintenance and installation works.
  • Completion of detailed service reports and job-related documentation.
  • Promote company and services, to the client when on-site and during correspondence when working with/at the client location.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment. Apply where appropriate Clients, Quality, Health, Safety, Environment Policy and Management Systems.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing with team members and clients.
  • Other duties that may be requested in association with the company’s business.
  • Travelling 70% annually to customer manufacturing locations within EMEA mainly.



What are we looking for?

Education:Mechanical/Electrical qualified engineer, preference being mechanically biased

Experience:At least 4 years in a similar role as a customer facing service engineer role.

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency and experience in pneumatics, heating, cooling, control systems pumping systems, process valves, instrumentation, steam heating system etc.
  • Experience installing capital equipment products
  • Familiar in working with PLC’s, HMI and SCADA systems
  • Ability to read and interpret pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and P & ID drawings


Location:Coventry area reasonable commuting distance. Willingness to travel overseas when required.
