Preci-Spark is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our busy and experienced team. As a Project Engineer within our team, you will play a crucial role in introducing and managing new projects, while also contributing to existing ones. Your previous experience with CAD/CAM software will be highly valued as you will be responsible for delivering optimised manufacturing processes.

• £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience and skill level).

  Requirements:
  
  
• Engineering Degree (Mechanical Design or Aerospace preferable).
  
  
• 5 years’ experience within an engineering role.
  
  
• Experience in CAD/CAM (Siemens NX preferable).
  
  
• Experience of creating engineering drawings (incl. GDT).
  
  
• Understanding of project management techniques and tools.
  
  
• Experience of working with core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively.
  
  
• Be an effective communicator when interacting with colleagues and customers.
  
  
• To always work in a professional manner.
  
  
• Full UK driving licence (role will some travel between sites).
  
  
• Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
  
  The role:
  
  
• Introduction of new products (NPI), working to both ISO, AS and company standards and procedures.
  
  
• Being able to work independently on projects with support from the wider team.
  
  
• Design of manufacturing process plans and works instructions.
  
  
• Design of jigs and fixtures.
  
  
• Offline programming of CNC machines including milling, turning, mill-turn, lasers and WEDM machining centres.
  
  
• Producing high quality technical drawings for use both internally and externally (for customers or sub-contractors).
