Superb opportunity to join a leading specialist in advanced coating solutions.

The business was founded in 1971 and they have since grown internationally with headquarters in the USA.

You’ll join a collaborative SME environment and work with clients across aerospace/defence to medical, transportation and electronics.

There are currently 67 employees based in the UK facility.

The Role

We are currently looking for a Production Support Manager to join the business as part of growth.

The core objectives will be to:

  • Provide management oversight of production for the UK facility which currently operates with x2 shifts.

  • Ensure all daily operations are performed accurately, safely and that customer requirements are met.

  • Write and conduct reports, managing budgets, figures and raising/approving POs.

  • Collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.

    We’re looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in manufacturing process and production oversight. They key aspect of the role will be to demonstrate leadership across day-to-day operations.

    The business needs someone who is also customer centric, with strong communications skills and the ability to build and sustain relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

    The role will be based on-site, Monday to Friday (8am – 4.30pm) covering 37.5 hours per week.

    Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience.

  • Background within industrial automation or manufacturing industries.

  • Ability to perform basic math functions and manipulate electronic spreadsheets.

  • Possess intermediate skills with MS Office software: MSWord, MS Excel, MS Outlook/Lotus Notes.

  • Moderate to high degree of manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination.

  • Possess mechanical ability and problem-solving ability in order to troubleshoot equipment.

  • Experience with Agile principles such as LEAN, Six Sigma, Blackbelt (nice to have).
